AHH! Just realized i've labeled the photo's wrong :|
^
that is Feb 11 ^ October 10
SORRY

Do you have a picture where you're not pulling the hair? I say that only because in the October one, you're not. And it's good to provide pics that are the same. Nevertheless, I do see progress. Well done, on retaining some length.

I know whatchu mean about seeing progress pics here. But hey, don't let that get that to you. I cut my hair off the other day. Do you know why? Because I'm not a slave to it.

Now sing with me girl

ETA: Whats your hair regimen?

aww thank you :)
andd yeh sorry about the variation in pictures
in October (labelled feb lol) i had just straightened my hair
and in the Feb one (labelled October) it was the day after straightening, after a night out and it wasn't as straight as the day before :(

and i D/C once a week
try to co/wash once a week (not always faithful to that commitment though)
- i moisturize + seal, and dry in plaits then wear a braid out for about two days
any other time i'm not wearing a braid out i'll be bunning :)
that's about it really
i'm not as strict as i should be with a regemin

Ohhhh I see.

You might just be a slow grower, or your suffering breakage.. I don't know. I asked your regimen so hopefully somebody could step in and give you some tips.

I'm guessing your relaxed? .. maybe your hair needs more protein?

I'll let the experts chime in.

Congrats on retaining some length, but I think you can retain more sweetheart.

Good luck with your hair journey.

and noo i'm natural,
still trying to find my way with this hair cre thing

You can definitely see the progress and the right side really filled in. There is no reason why you have to wait til your hair hits your waist before you show the fruits of your efforts. Congrats!!

Progress is progress, girl! Celebrate it!
I'm a slow grower and it's difficult to stay motivated when ppl are going from SL to WL in 1 year! But I look at my pix from last year and celebrate the growth I've gotten. You should too!

I say celebrate even the slightest progress!...as long as it's not regression give yourself a thumbs up :) I B/Cd to 1/8 of an inch in 9/04 and it took about 1 1/2 years to get to shoulder length...well, I'm still not at full APL, I think I may finally have some lead hairs grazing it....but what can I do. I'm finally trying to focus on proper care, so I'm celebrating overcoming my hurdle...getting past SL. You should too! You are conscious of it now...and you can do it in less 5 years...lol Great progress!
