post-braids PROTEIN treatment question...

I just took out my senegalese twists, after about 3.5 weeks of keeping them in. I want to do a protein treatment before I DC with my beloved Kenra MC, but left my Aphogee 2 min and Emergencee with my mom

I have some Megatek so I was thinking about using that as a DC, but I wanted to ask all of YOU for opinions on an effective post-braids treatment. I am NOT going out to buy anything tonight, so if you can make some suggestions (i.e. you DC with Megatek or use an egg treatment or something) I would appreciate it.

Hi LilSparkle - you should be okay with using MT as a protein condish as I do it as well - I also follow up with Kenra MC too - I leave it in for no more than 5-15 minutes and when following up with my Kenra MC I leave it in a minimum of 30 minutes (sometimes longer)
