Porosity Control Challenge!

Ok. So I did the ACV rinse after my co-wash. Not sure if I noticed a difference in "feel", but I did see a difference in the amount of hair that came out in my shower comb. Not sure if this is supposed to be a benefit or not, but plan to keep going.
-

Did you notice less, because I did. I think I had less hairs because it wasnt as tangled.

-Which will you be using, PC or ACV? ACV -Both till I figure out which is best for me.
-How often will you be using PC/ACV? -Weekly
-How will you be using PC/ACV? -As my final step/rinse

OK--- first time PC user

I tried it after my 2 min AP Recon. for 5 min w/ heat and then I DCed....hair felt good--still dried really quick.....tons bf I even finished a section while rollersetting..

hopefully i will see a diff in that soon---every wash I will use it

okay i'm in on this one:

-Which will you be using, PC or ACV? PC
-How often will you be using PC/ACV? every wash day (like once a week or week and a half)
-How will you be using PC/ACV? i will try to use it after my DC. i am entirely clueless about PC and ACV. I'd like to know where (in a store, preferably as opposed to online ordering) I can buy porosity control.

LivingDol1 I was wondering what was taking you so long to get in here after tiffers recommended this to the both of us in the rollersetting challenge. lol You can get it at Sally's. Bye girl!

Im in a lil late but today is the start date...so hopefully i can still join

-Which will you be using, PC or ACV? Both
-How often will you be using PC/ACV? 3x's a week
-How will you be using PC/ACV? I will be using PC on my wash day after I DC and I will use ACV when I Co-wash twice a week.

I used Bragg's ACV after my cowash before my DC. I just did a rinse, got out the extra water, then applied my DC and went to bed. About to rinse out DC now. Maybe next week I'll do it as my final rinse.

so this time I tried it before my DC it's usually a final rinse for me
so it came out really good!! i feel like my dc (ao hsr) worked the best for me
i did an overnight dc and woke up and rinsed it out and my hair was really soft the dc finally worked right
but i also used it as a final rinse!!
i love roux pc
it's a pretty good detangler for my jungle of hair; it does the best it can for my crazy perpetually tangled hair
but my hair is airdrying now and in a bun but it's pretty soft

I tried it for the first time yesterday and I loved it! My hair finally feels moisturized. I used it as my final rinse and I then rollerset. My hair did feel kinda hard but I felt the difference once it dried.

lol. i'm incredibly slow... i'll be heading to sally's ASAP tomorrow after work! whew! thanks. :)

Deep Conditioning now with Organix Fortifying Lavender Soymilk Conditioner then going to use PC for 5 minutes and then braid for a breaid out.

Did you notice less, because I did. I think I had less hairs because it wasnt as tangled.

My hair is rarely tangle free because it is so fine - unless I use a con with a LOT of cones. Actually, I think my hair is more tangled with the ACV, but once I use my leave-in (GD) it is fine.

Yesterday, I DC'd with AO HR on dry hair, then cleansed with Ayurvedic mixture, then DC'd again and ACV for final rinse. Pinned up and air-dried with scarf. My hair is still damp in the back, but very soft and silky. My new growth looks like the relaxed hair as well. Even less breakage in comb than before. I am definitely liking the ACV thing. :yep:

I may buy some PC later - because I like the ingredients, not because I am a PJ in the making .

This sunday I poo'd then did an ACV rinse and left it in my hair while I applied my DC. The DC didn't seem to take so well and the next day my hair felt really dry. I'm going to try it as a final rinse again this Sunday. Hopefully my hair won't smell like vinegar afterwards.

Oops this started yesterday, right? Yesterday was a full hair day. It ended with acv and a cold water rinse. Today is a cowash day and I will still end it with an acv and cold water rinse. I will probably some get Porosity Control at some point.

Used PC today after my henna. My broken hairs are raised up but I think it might be due to the henna. I hennaed, cowash twice with hyrasoft, then with when an PC for 1 minute as a final rinse. Will report how my hair feels on Wed when I will use it again.

Newbie who maybe in first challenge; nervous as I write.
Hope I am not too late.
Will start next week if that is ok.

Will be using PC.
Will be using 2x a week.
Will be using as a final rinse.

Today was hair day.

Shampoo'd with generic aloe rid

2 minute keratin treatment

Applied a homemade conditioner mix, honey, coconut cream, banana, with a little kenra mc. Dc'd for 30 minutes.

Final step acv rinse.

Hair feels good.

Is it too late to join this challenge? My wash day is Friday and I would love to join this challenge. It would be my first.

Is it too late to join? I need to add this step to my routine.

My poo day is Friday nite, plan to follow with an ACV rinse. I CW on Tuesday and Thursday, plan to add PC to my conditioner.

I've been really hair lazy lately. The last time I posted here was the last time I washed :perplexed

I'm making myself wash tonight

I'm in unofficially because I saw this too late. I bought some cuticle sealer but it has sodium chloride!!! SO I still have to get some PC.

I have a question: If I want to used Aphogee 2 min reconstructor and a deep conditioner and the PC how would I go about doing this? Would I do the DC then the reconstructor for 5 min and then the PC. I want to get the most out of the PC cur Lord knows I need it. TIA!
1)Aphogee
2)Deep condition
3)PC

or you can switch 2 and 3 :)

Girl, that is NOT a dumb question. I just don't know the answer. I think they mean the relaxed hair because it closes the cuticles right? Therefore it would prohibit the relaxer process? :perplexed Hopefully one of the oldies can help us out with that one. I think the person who originally posted this info (Hairlista) is a member of this forum, but I don't know her LHCF name.

Yeah, you don't wanna apply it to the newgrowth because 1) It's water based and if it gets on your scalp you'll be :burning: and 2) It would (like you said) inhibit the relaxer process.

Apply to the length only :)

Okay, ladies whose names haven't been added yet:

I've been very lazy lately and was too lazy to put your names on the list :lachen: I'll be adding your names shortly :D
