The wig is not for extended use... it's only for use at night time for the formal dinners. I know I won't be hot because the cruise ships (if you've ever been on one) are FREEZING cold... so it may work to my advantage! I wanted a more polished look to compliment my cocktail dresses so I opted for straight rather than wavy.

Got the wig at the BSS store, y'all... it was the last one so it was on sale. But the style is called Juliet and it's by Motown Tress.
 
it looks cute on you!!!! I had a similar feeling when i bought a new wig the other day.. i walked into work and was like.. tell the truth yall.. do i look like im in a witness protection program?
 
I like the wig! I did the same when I got married in Jamaica...My hair for swimming, PhonyPonies for everything else. Makes for easy travelling! Have Fun!!

YOu need to just roll that up and put it in your suitcase right now, don't think about it again.

I wish I had done that when I went on y cruise last month. I have natural hair and surely didn't want to deal with it on a ship lugging all them prods and stuff so I decided to get a sewn in weave...BIG mistake!! I had to have my hubby snip that mess out after about the 3rd day cause I was itching and scratching like a flea bitten dog. Then I had to try and deal with my natural hair with inadequate little comb and brush I bought from the little shop on the ship ...you know it wasn't made for us. If I had a wig with me I woulda been set.

I'm going on 2 more cruises next year and you just gave me a great idea. I'm gonna buy a phony pony and a wig . They have some great ones on www.katourlinewigs.com

I love the way the bangs frame your face and I think if you thin it out a little toward the last two inches and layer it shorter bringing it closer up to your collar bone / shoulder area, it would be good.

^^^antoine...do you mind me asking is that your hair in the pic or a piece? That would be the perfect piece for my hair type.

I'm looking for something like that , any tips? did you make it yourself?

Go for it. I do the same thing when I go. 'Cept I do a wigs that's shorter than my hair....just for kicks. Here's one below.
