Hi ladies!
As many of you may or may not know, I've been transistioning for the past 10 months. I was getting pretty frustrated because I felt like I couldn't do anything with my hair and I wasn't ready to relax yet.
I went to my hairdresser on 2/29 and he said that I had a lot of breakage (thanks to my two visits to the Dominican salon) and that I should cut my hair. He suggested an inverted bob and I said ok.
I went from BSL to not even SL but, I am so happy with my decision. My hair is some much easier to manage and my texture is so much more defined.
Now that I've cut it though I think I will go ahead and relax it at the 1 year mark.

ETA: I am so shocked that you cut it! When I saw who posted, I said to myself, "isn't her hair like BS length???"
Did you really have that much damage??? To go from down your back to above your shoulders?

I didn't have to cut it that short but,I really wanted something different too.
I love a presicion cut! It's gorgeous. I bet your hair dresser was jumping up & down inside when you said "yes"!
Did you keep the hair that he cut? Shoot, you could have made me a pony tail.

Now you know you could have saved that hair in a baggy and given it to me...I would have made a weave track!!!!!
