So, I did a perm rod set on my transitioning hair.
~I love it~
I have to say that I was shocked this morning when I took the rods out b/c, I truly look like a natural-head. I mean, it really looks like I just did a BC, but with alot of new-growth and possibly 3c hair.
I do see myself continuing w/ this style. Next time I think that I will use a slightly larger rod in each area. Also, I need a something creamy to set with instead of the Queen Helen gel that I used. Though the gel was not hard, it definely didn't leave my hair moisturized.
Now, when I was natural (I've said this so many times), I used SoftTouch grease and Rave #3 mousse and acheived ultimate softness and curl definition. I'm thinking of going this same route again. Any other suggestions?
P.S. - I'll post pics this weekend, including the size of the rods I used.
