Hey guys,
I have a serious issue , I have worn a weave for about 3 years straight with no break. Now wearing my hair out I have notice that I have a patch of missing hair on the top of my head. I want to know if theres anything that I can do to recover my hair loss. I've gone from thick hair to thin hair. If anybody out there have shared my pain or no someone who have and have any suggestions please....:perplexed let me know.

Now it is time to pamper your hair. Now you know that ( at least it appears ) that if you wear a weave you must give your hair a break in between. Protective styling is one of the keys to recovery. The same thing happen to me. One thing is not to stress about it. Stress adds to the issue. What is your hair regimen? How often do you wash? What products are you using? How often are you using these products?

I dont really have a regimen that I been sticking too. I've been using emergencee my nexxus, alter ego when getting my hair rolled. That's about it , my hair get washed maybe every 2 weeks. What should I do? And I do think that I've have been stressing making matters worst. Please let me know of regimen anything to do to turn this matter around.

YOU CAN BUY ROGAINE ANYWERE TARGET,WALGREENS ITS ALL OVER I GOT THE SERUM IN THE LITTLE BOTTLE I BUT IT ON 2WICE A DAY GOOD LUCK.

I wore weaves and braids off and on for 11 months and am suffering from thin edges. I don't want to claim traction alopecia but there is definitely some stress going on. I've been doing a lot of reading on traction alopecia. 1st thing is to stop the behavior that caused the problem. Second, you must do things that may stimulate hair growth like, massages, EO's, sulfur treatments, Emu oil (which has been researched to stilmulate folicles because of it's ability to penetrate the skin), Nioxin folicle booster (which I am going to purchase tomorrow $20.00) but if you have no change in 8-24 months you can almost assume that the damage is permanent and the only treatment is folicle transplantation. I hate to be the bearer of this news but is something I had to accept as well. I haven't given up since my areas are not shiny bald but are actually patchy thin. Also, I don't know what your faith is but I believe in God's ability to heal even the smallest issues and I stand firm and believe that God will heal me from this problem. I speak it and I visualize hair growing in those areas. Treat your hair like fine silk and diamonds and make sure you see a dermatologist. Again.....I pray for you, you pray for me and I believe you will see new hair growing in those areas.
