Pantothenic Acid...I really don\'t get it...

Okay pantothenic acid m,akes your strainds thicker from the inside out right? So if I start taking it will my roots look way thicker than my ends? Because it can't make the ends thicker too right? Will you have to cut the ends off eventually because the ends will be so much thinner?

Also how much thicker does it make your hair and how long does it take to see results? I really need a sure thing here because no vitamin has ever made a difference in my hair growth that was recommended on here.

Can it make your hair twice thicker?

Re: Pantothenic Acid...I really don\'t get it...

i've never heard of pantothenic acid making your hair thicker. i have to do research on something related to this for cos 100, so if i find something useful i'll post it, but the only thing i know of is biotin, msm, and cysteine helping with growth/thickness.

Re: Pantothenic Acid...I really don\'t get it...

I think it will work on the new hair only...but I also think it will only work (or you will only notice a difference) if your hair was not getting sufficient amounts of Vitamin B5. If it is, then I'd imagine it's as thick as it can be...coz my guess is the excess would just go through you.

But I seem to recall hearing or reading that B5 is one of those vitamins that can be applied topically...hence why it's in products that are supposed to give your hair body. (Nexxus comes to mind... Headdress? Or was it Humectress?) I'm not sure but off the top of my head, that's my line of thought.

I actually have Nexxus Headdress for rollersets and I was unimpressed. but maybe I will start putting it on my heqad more often and I may like it better.

Hey Real,
I add a few drops of castor oil to my headress and it plumps the strands up -- of course this is only temporary, my plumpness lasts for 2 days only.
