Let me know what you hear about this. Are you currently texturized, or are you a natural thinking about texturizing?!?!?

Cuz let me tell you - all this Phyto talk has got me SERIOUSLY thinking about texturizing...and I'm approaching 2.5 years natural.

i am currently texturized. i have silkener on most of my ends and i had my stylist apply phyto 1 to my hair last week. it came out decent but i'm thinking maybe i should have gotten 2. i want someone who is really experienced at using phyto as a texturizer. my stylist isn't. LA Girl's hair looks really good and she did her own phyto texturizer but i think she said that she might have someone apply her next one, so i wanted to get in touch with her to see if she found an LA person who was helfpul.

Did you go to Miss Jessie's in NY for a silkener or did you get it down here in LA?! And what Salon did you got to in LA?! I swear for a city with soooo many black folks we have some of the worst salons to choose from. Heat. HEAT and MORE HEAT!!! Steady tryin to flat iron and bake someone's head. No wonder there are so many weaves in LA....stylists won't let you grow any hair.

Ms. Nadi--I went to Curve in NYC. The LA salon I do go to is for when I'm getting my hair pressed. I totally feel you--I was like what is up with the Black folks here?! The stylist who applied the phyto is the one who does my double strand twists.

I'm still looking for an LA stylist. I'll keep you posted if I find one and you do the same please!
