Anyone using their products?

I ordered some Burnt Sugar Pomade last Thursday and their shipping was pretty fast (it arrived Saturday didn't expect that) The smell is a little on the sweet side but I like it so far.

I ordered some of the Hair Dew and the Juice and Berries (it supposed to come today)

Do ya'll have a favorite product from them? Have you used any of the products I've ordered and did you like it?

And if there is a Oyin Handmade thread floating around here just send me the link, I'm at work and I didn't have time to do a search.

Hair dew is great, I just can't get over the scent. It's too strong and sweet. The Pomade is great for sealing. My hair did not care for the Juices though. I'm pretty sure your hair will like most of the products.

I love the burnt sugar pomade & shine & define. I used to use them together twist my first set of locs. I also love juices & berries. My local Target carries some of the line.

Hair Dew and Burnt Sugar Pomade are my favorites. I'll never be without those.

Juices and Berries is good but can get a little sticky. I'd use it lightly.

I like the whipped pudding to twist with if I use the pomade in conjunction. But my favorite way to use it is as a body cream.

Also tried the Honey Hemp conditioner but didn't give it much of a chance to really try it.

Love the hair dew and whipped pudding. Both are staples for me. Hair dew for leave in/moisturizer, whipped pudding for styling

I can't figure out how to incorporate the sugar berries pomade into my regimen, plus the scent is a little too much for me. So it's just been sitting. Wasn't a fan of the honey hemp at all.

The shine & define was just okay. Seemed to work best on soaking wet hair. Didn't get to play around with it too much since the 4oz went by quick.

I don't like the smell of their products but you get use to it.

Burnt sugar and Hair Dew are my favorite. Hair Dew is the best leave in conditioner I used for my natural hair.

Honey hemp is a really good conditioner. However it can never can be doubled as a deep conditioner just a rinse out for me and for the price almost 15 bucks I think you can find the same results for cheaper. I find my self having to use so much of it to.

Did not like whipped shea butter.. smelled too strong was too heavy.

Was not a fan of Shine and Define either wasn't as moisturizing left hair stiff

So it seems like Hair Dew is a winner..good, I hope my hair likes it.

The BSP had me smelling like cookies yesterday, LOL!!! But I got used to the smell.

Whipped Pudding is a staple in the warmer months. Keeps my hair super moisturized, which is a big deal

I like Honey Hemp as a rinse out

Greg Juice smells nice but I rarely need refresher sprays

Hair Dew is nice, but only if I seal it correctly

Oyin Hair Dew, Whipped Pudding, and GSO = Awesome LCO combo!
Also, Oyin Hair Dew, Whipped Pudding, GSO, and Burnt Sugar Pomade = Awesome LCOB combo! :lick:

The Honey Hemp is good too, but I can't tolerate the Tropical Starbust on steroids smell.

Shine and Define stinks just like the HH and it was a fail for my hair.

I have been using Oyin since it became available at Target. Love whipped pudding burnt sugar pomade and hair dew. I use the greg juice to refresh my wash and go.

I have attended a couple of events at their store. Customer service is excellent. I have tried a couple of body products and have been pleased.

Love:
Honey Hemp (a Summer time Fav Cowashing Conditioner - always a repeat purchase for summer)
Hair Dew
BSP & Sugar Berries Pomades

I have Juices & Berries but haven't pulled it out yet.

Love: Honey Hemp, Hair Dew, and Juices & Berries. I just bought some Oyin from Target awhile back.

We have been hanging strong for three years!! I love their whipped pudding, but
Nt sugar pomade, the juices(not the funk juice), hair dew (love it, great for everything). Honey hemp is good too but I haven't used it in a while. I have the 16oz. I think it's time to revisit it. You can't go wrong with this line!!

Hair Dew is an amazing moisturizer, but like someone already posted the scent is strong. It smells delicious, like caramel candy! Over the past 8 years I think I've tried everything Oyin has to offer (except the Boing cream or whatever its called) and I'd say their products are just ok. Hair Dew is definitely their best product, IMO.

I have only tried the Hair Dew. It is really good. Love the scent. Not too strong for me. Smells like some type of cake. Keeps hair really moisturized for days! :lick:

Thanks ladies. I tried my products last night. I shampooed and conditioned with my regular stuff than I applied the Hair Dew and sealed with the Burnt Sugar and this morning my hair still feels soft a moisturized (its usally dry feeling if I use something else) so far im enjoying the products.

Omg! Just remembered today is my TWO YEAR nappiversary :) Happy fourth yall.

Oops! The ad cut out the rest of my post:). I have been using the Oyin products for about two years. My fav is Hair Dew. It helped a lot to Moisturize my transition to natural hair. I have also used Honey Hemp Conditioner, Honey Wash, Boing, Juices&Berries, and Shine and Define.

I went to target and looked for oyin products, none there. Not my usual target either, because I've seen them in there... I went home disappointed, but my pj'ism didn't let me leave entry handed. I grabbed dinner curls creme brulé, I hope I like it

Try using Target.com to find which stores sell Oyin

I tried to do a search for oyin, the site shows only 5 items sold only online

Wow I just saw that online too. They sell Oyin in my Target but I wonder for how long now.

When I first looked at Oyin on targets website it told you which stores sold it. That was a few months ago.

Maybe it's not selling as well as they had hoped it to be and will sell what's left in stores and only sell online from now on.

missyanne On the official Oyin Handmade website, you can see locations (incl. select Targets) selling products on the ground. Not sure how up to date the list is as I haven't stopped by one yet. I moved to MD recently and now there is one on this list within 20mins of me so I'm going to check it out next week.

I took those awful "Karen's Body Beautiful" products (the butter love & super duper hydrating cream)back to target and swapped it to try the Oyin line... I'm hoping for the best!
