Do any of you online daters specify what "ethnicities" you are willing to date? On POF they don't have that option and I get mass emails from *insert ethnicity* guys that I am not interested in dating. Do you get hate mail if you do listed it?

I don't list it because I think it's obnoxious, childish, petty, and kind of hateful. That being said, there are easily ways to speak culturally to the fact that you are interested in dating certain types of people.

When I was on the dating sites I didn't have my preference listed but after seeing how many guys had their preferences for race it made me what to list mine not just for race but education and income as well.

We all like what we like and after getting attention from suitors you're not interested in you might as well weed them out.
