Go Head Girl!! I'm so proud of you, you're giving me hope!!!
I am definitely weaving it up for '09. I'm still not sure what I will be doing for the next four weeks before my next install
Definitely don't fry your ends with a flat iron...other than that...ENJOY YOUR HAIR...Swing it girl!
How do you care for your hair under the sew in?
Do you ever experience matting or breakage from tangling?
I answered this in an earlier post so I just moved it over for you, hope this helps.
How long would u keep ur weaves in? It varied. It took awhile to find a time frame that worked for me. The first install was in for 12-weeks and I had massive knotting and tangling and a minor setback. In the end we decided that 6-8 weeks max was all that I could handle.
What was ur regimen?
• Wash/DC once a week or every 2-weeks
• Moisturize and seal every other day
• OCT on scalp daily
I got my weaves back to back with no breaks except for after relaxers, which I got every 6-months. During that time I wore half-wigs for approximately 4 weeks. Besides the initial major trim I only had my ends dusted twice in the last year.
Just a quick question after the first two visit does the price go down?
or does it stay the same price of the second appt?
I never understood that..
Just wanted to share my progress from January 2008 - January 2009. I've been growing my hair over the last year with sew-ins by Reniece. There are more pictures in my fotki. Enjoy!

BTW, Breon's (Reneice's sis and stylist) book opened up for a split second yesterday...by the time I logged on, all the slots were taken!
