Well I loved my natural hair but the patches on my sides looked horrible. You could just see my scalp. The rest of my hair was growing but the patch on my right side I could no longer blend my hair to cover the spot. I relaxed and I don't feel so uncomfortable.

Well relaxed ladies help a sista out. (my daughter relaxed today ) What can I do to get my hair growing. Right now it is top of neck length, but I am okay with that. I am still going to wash 2x weekly my hair feels better.

I was using ahpogee shampoo, reconstructor and leave-in my hair seems to really like it I also bought some Paul Mitchel foam cream (it dosen't leave my hair feeling dry, hard or gunky like some foam lotion) to help lay my hair down. I used the mizani butter blend relaxer for extra sensitive scalp and ladies my hair is so straight and she only left it on for what seemed like a few seconds.

So can I get some info on what I need to do now. I have been natural for about 5 months. Please give me some tips. I don't have to use heat I can just wrap and leave it alone. Thanks ladies

Well, be careful with the Aphogee, you don't wanna overdo it on the protein.

I'm not really sure what do with as for as styling, if you can, try co-washing and bunning or co-washing and braidouts, since you want to wash 2 times a week.

Another alternative is to rollerset. Do you know how?

The first tip I can give you is: On your next wash day, shampoo with a neutralizing shampoo, to make sure that all of the relaxer is out of your hair

And all of the basics: Dc with each shampoo, make sure your hair is moisturized, limit heat, yada, yada, yada :)

And uhhhh......

No my hair is cut in a style that I can just mess up alittle and wear it spike or something. It's not short nor long.

I am trying to find out what is a good shampoo and conditioner. I have infusim23 I just don't want to cause a mess. I am trying to find my way since I relaxed. I hear don't wash to often but condishon wash and wash once a week.

Is there a post on taking care of natrual hair. I was going to try the mn mix but I can't not stand alot of oil. My hair is fine and I don't need much product.

What products do you all recommed. I am willing and know that I must spend some money to get a good product. I am also going to air dry and trying to go 12 weeks before I relax.

For a poo, Neutrogena Triple Moisture is great! A lot of people also love CON shampoo and Paul Mitchell's The Wash

For co washing, LTR, HH and Organix conditioners are good

For deep conditioning, LeKair cholesterols. The Shea Butter and Aloe conditioners are popular. Profectiv has a masque, can't remember what it's called, but people like it. Giovanni Smooth As Silk, Paul Mitchell Super Charged, Redken Butter Treat, Joico Moisture Recovery Balm

HTH!!!
