do you have to have a texturizer or relaxer to do a dominican blowout? When I sit under dryer w/ rollers, it's straight....but would they still blow dry it with the welding torch?

Good googa mooga........so Is your hair like paper thin afterwards?? And what happens to all of the curls they just made??FlyyGyrl said:Yes siree bob, unless you ask them not to. That is just their technique. I've seen them do it on on straight haired hispanic ppl too.
do you smell bacon? dang....but the hair is bouncy? can't be achived w/ a regular ol 1875 wtt dryer (gun)? the things we as women do for beautyFlyyGyrl said:Well it depends on what they are doing. My hair is usually not paper thin, but it is thinner than usual. If they rollerset it for curls then they only blow the roots and they leave some curl at the end. If they rollerset to make it straight then they use larger rollers and then blow dry to your hair to a tender crisp. All I know is that they do not reserve the "welding torch" for the relaxed and texturized only.
I don't know what is worse, relaxing my hair early or subjecting myself to such heat torture. Unfortunately I will have to choose one b/c of a wedding that I am in. You can always count on the dominicans to fry the napps outta some 4b hair.![]()
