xcuse my ignorance but is a dominican blow out the use of a blow dryer and a curl brush? Or is it a roller set and the curls are relaxed w/ a blow dryer and brush after the rollers are removed?

Additionally, what makes dominican stylist so popular and are the techniques they use really healthy? I.E products and styling tools.

Thanks

I GO TO THE DOMINICAN SALONS WHEN I AM AT LEAST EIGHT WEEKS POST OR MORE ON WHEN MY NG I OUT OF CONTROL THEY WASH AND DEEP CONDITION HAIR I BRING MT OWN SULFATE/PARABEN FREE SHAMPOO SOMETIMES I BRING MY OWN COND. I PREE POO THE DAY B4 THEN THEY SET YOUR HAIR. WHEN IT IS FULLY DRY THEY BLOW OUT THE CURL WITH A ROUND BRUSH I SPRAY ON HEAT PROTECTANT (MY OWN) PRIOR. FOR A SMOOTH STRAIGHT FINISH. IT IS HIGH HEAT BUT NO HOTTER THAN A FLAT IRON..

I DO NOT LET THEM BLOW THE LENGTH OF MY HAIR BECAUSE I AM RELAXED AND THE REST OF MY HAIR IS SMOOTH FROM THE SET SO I ONLY LET THEM BLOW OUT THE NG I ALSO BRING MY GIOVANNI DIRECT LEAVE IN BECAUSE THEY TEND TO USE ALOT OF CONES. I DO NOT LIKE PERFECT FOR PERMS EITHER (MINERAL OIL)SO I BRING MY MANGO BUTTER TO PUT IN AFTER. I DO THIS OF I HAVE SOMETHING TO GO TO IT COMES OUT AS STRAIGHT AS A FRESH RELAXER :)
