I have this Vatika oil that I really want to use up but a few weeks after pouring it into my applicator bottle the little coconut pieces have turned brown?!?:perplexed It doesn't smell the same as when I first got it but I have had it for at least 8 months. I'm afraid to use it. Is it any good? Should I still use it?

I wouldn't use it. I think almost everything has an expiration date especially things from the earth because they will go bad and become useful to the earth again....just a thought I always had. ♫The circle of life!♫

If you feel unsure about it don't use it, that is the safest thing to do.
Though I had Aloe Vera Juice that was expired and was in the fridge I continued to use it until it was done for topical use only though.

I since re bought a bottle and I have been using it at end of rinse and I think it works wonder, now I am thinking because it wasn't old. Lol. Oh well.

My vote for you since you feel unsure about it toss it out and buy another.

It must have been old when you purchased it...I've had a bottle for over a year, and it's still good. Definitely toss if it's going brown.
