I have used Bigen hair color in Oriental Black (#59) for the last 4 years, and I will never try another hair color! Its absolutely amazing. In 2001, I used Dark and Lovely Permanent in Midnight Blue, and it made my hair so dry...my stylist then said that it did the same thing to her other clients. I retouch my roots 2 weeks after touch-ups with Bigen, and I refresh the ends with a semi-permanent such as Beautiful Collection. The color lasts very well for me. I noticed in the BSS last week that they have a new Bigen haircolor (blue-black # 60?)...this oriental black is dark enough for me, I think!

Bigen is the stuff. Get it at the Indian stores and not the beauty supply, it is much cheaper there.

I don't know where any indian stores are around here! :perplexed I usually buy at Wal-mart or the BSS...at both places, 1 box is about 3.59-3.89. I have to use to boxes for thorough coverage...how much cheaper is it at indian stores? TIA!! ;)
