Congrats on your BC! Your hair looks great!

The shrinkage takes a lot of getter use to. I waited about 2 years, and I still was surprised about the shrinkage. The relaxed ends really do weigh the new growth down more than you would expect. All in all, the healthy, natural hair is well worth it!

you'll get over it when you find how much easier it is to care for natural hair....
you also need to know what you did before might not work anymore...
have you read biracialhair.org or Miss Jessie's... you can get great tips from there.

I don't think you have a TWA (at least by my standards) it looks like you are a month or two a way from a BAA actually. And a GORGEOUS BAA at that!!! Your texture looks beautiful!!!! And I know what a shock going from long and straight to short and curly is (I had never had hair above my ears in MY WHOLE LIFE before I BCed) but you will get used to it. And by the time you DO get used to it, your hair will be back down your back again! So don't fret, you look amazing!

I like my hair and I have been experimenting with different products for the last week, so my texture is more defined and I love it.
The problem is the length, I haven't had this short hair in ages and I think I was in shock..It is the length that is the problem, not the texture.
But it will grow and it is long enough to put in a puff.

Oh I'm glad this thread got bumped up. As you already know, I was completely shocked when I saw that you BC'd. Your hair is so hot ... it really suits your features well.

Oh ... and I love how you're already doing styles on your newly natural hair (peep the Fotki). You've inspired me to try the coil out method.
