Oh banana clip,

How I love thee!
You provide cute, sassy styling options with minimal effort.
My hair is happier now that you're here.
Oh banana clip,
We shall ne'er part.

:giggle:

I'd never used a banana clip before the last time I straightened my hair & I
L O V E it !! Please post any styles you've made using one.

P.S. I'm getting the itch to relax so I can experiment with more straight styles sans reversion, but I know I'd miss my puff too much
:drunk:

P.P.S. Ignore my skin, it was cuttin up somethin serious

I think my hair would break a banana clip. So many things have popped and snapped out of my hair. Your hairstyles are cuuuute and I wish I could wear them :)

I hijacked my banana clip from my momma :D
(She loves me so)

the style: cornrowed and twisted in the front, banana clipped puff in the back

I've broken 2 so far :( One with my hair natural the other with my hair straight. Man I wish I could find one that my hair can't break. :look:
I LOVE the looks!

G O R G E O U S !!!! I would never have thought to use a banana clip unless my hair was straightened. I am soooooo trying this style!!!

I love them too. I've done this protective style few times, where my ends are all safely tucked away:

And sometimes I do just clip up the hair and let the ends do a little "peacock fan" instead of tucking them under (no pic, sorry). I love the banana clip, it's so loose on my head and gentle. It causes the least stress & breakage out of any of my hair accessories.

I've broken all of my banana clips. They don't stay in whether my hair is straight or not. I need one that can handle thick hair.

ive tried em & it won't close! i broke one.. but i shall keep trying because i want the hairstyle!!!

The trick to not breaking them is by putting your hair in a pony tail first, close the clip around the ponytial, and then take the pony tail down and fluff hair!!! Trust me this works!!

I wear them when my curly styles start to get old and I wanna make it last and still be cute.

I like these clips but I am having a hard time finding some for thick hair. I can't clip them on, they keep popping off.

I can never figure out how to put these on. Doesn't help that my noggin is huge.

OP I also wanted to say your puff is fierce!

My hair isn't even thick and I broke mine the last time I tried!! Will give it another go though because I do like banana clips.

I used to hate banana clips, but I tried one again for the first time in like 15 years and I works great for my natural hair. I have to get the more dureable ones though. I got one from ULTA that is now my best friend!

I love them - see my siggy. I agree with Charmtreese, ponytail first (fake pony anyway) then add the clip.
For those that are braking theirs, order from ebay. I have the smaller ones as well as the 7' and 8" ones that I ordered from ebay. Good luck
