October - What did you buy this week?

Nothing this week. I am trying to control myself but here is what is on the list.

Elucence Conditions
JBCO
Silcon Mix 32oz
Henna Queen Whale Sperm
Dudley Protein Cream
Sedal Lissage
Sedal Keraforce
Shea Butter

I think that will be good for now.

I ordered them from lotioncrafter.com after I found it in the discount thread http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=133925.

Soapetc.com also have products but they didn't have a discount code.:drunk: They have recipes I plan on using though.
Oh girl you are totally awesome. I swear I have read every conditoner bottle in north GA. They all have the same basic ingredients, with a lot of filler products high in the list. I'd like to decrease the filler and add more of the natural, benefical products and have them higher on the list. I would like to play around with different forumlations and I would always add something that would keep the ph down to about 5 because my hair is naturally porse. My new favorite conditoning ingredients is Ceramides... My hair like Vitamin E as well... Mix that with some aloe leaf juice and a splash of avocado oil, and a touch of citric acid and that fatty alcohol...you'll be right on in there with the shinny swangin hair! curl poppin hair ! :yep:

I am a true PJ!!!
I think I'm done buying products until January ...I will just purchase a relaxer (to take to the salon) on November 2nd

I purchased a

Rusk CTC Lite Blowdryer to replace my broken Rusk Hyper Ionic.

It is being serviced under warranty, but I need something to get me by. When I did not use the dryer the last 2 washes, my hair was dry. :perplexed I do think finishing off my airdrying with these wonderful dryers helps me maintain moisture.

Here it is: http://www.rusk1.com/products/engineering/engineering-blow-dryers.asp

The first one. I love that it came with a diffuser and a concentrator.

You really are pushing these Rusk Dryers. You had me checkin their website the other day. I might have to save up and get one.

OT: Your hair looks great in your avatar pic. It has grown this year

thanks girlie!

Girl, don't buy retail!!!

Ebay has them at such good prices. I actually saw the Hyperionic at TJ Maxx for $70, while I was in MA recently. If I had more room in my luggage I would have grabbed that thing up!!!

They are crazy with those prices! But, the dryer is very good. Honestly, I haev not used it for my last 2 washes. I just airdried totally then flatironed. In that 2 weeks, my hair is kinda dry. I think the dryer's technology does help me with moisture.

70 bucks....That is more my speed. I will have to look around when I got to ATL.

I almost forgot to post this. Yesterday I purchased 4 tubes of Aveda USC.

Can you believe that this is for my SO's Birthday present!?! LOL

I got him 4 tubes of it and I am going to take him out to dinner.

Dang homie. You must really love that stuff. I still haven't used my sample. I think I am going to wait until after I relax.

Most def. This stuff has really been helping me fight off the dryness. The weather here in NY is crazy. We had a 90 degree October day! Crazy weather messes with my allergies and that dries me up, skin and hair alike. I need it, I need it bad!!!

I feel ya. I am in NC and here the weather changes every 5 minutes

I am kinda afraid I will fall in love with that stuff. I am a student so my funds come and go with the wind. Sometimes I got and sometimes I don't. I don't want to get hooked to something expensive. If I can't afford it any more I would have a breakdown
