Now that summer is over, what was your summer growth spurt

How many inches do you think you got over the summer months? I don't want to know how much you retained, just how much phsyically grew out ya head. Don't lie yall, cuz i got my lie detecter out

No summer growth spurt. I think my growth spurts happen between Sept-DEC. I am one month post and have about 1/4 of an inch. I usually have that at 6 weeks post.

same here. sometimes it seems like my hair doesn't even grown in the summer(well, compared to how much my hair grows in the other months).

I got a total of 2 1/2 inches and thats from June to October 4 (when I relaxed).

Im having one now though and already have a quarter inch up there. My head is burning up! I may not make it to January for my next relaxer if this keeps up.

To be perfectly honest, I don't think I got a summer growth spurt. My hair grew a little, but I wouldn't call it a growth spurt. It may have grown like half an inch or so, but nothing major. I'm just happy the length is still there.

My hair usually only grows about .30 to .35 inches per month. Over the summer I got about .50 inches per month, which is still average for most people. It only worked out to about .80 inches more growth total. Last summer I got a spurt of about 2 inches on top of my regular growth. This year's spurt wasn't that poppin'....I'm still happy though because for a minute there, I didn't think my hair grew at all!

I have no idea how you ladies can measure this accurately... I have 2.5 months of new growth sitting on my head and I STILL can't figure out a good way to measure it. So even if I had a growth spurt, I wouldn't know.

LOL - Well, I'm not sure how "accurate" my calculations are. But I just base it off of the length from month to month, or accumulation of growth over 2 months. I know I get less than a half inch, but more than a quarter. So the mid point for me is about .30 to .35 inches per month.... I also do it by comparing my progress pics and factoring in the trims (if any), add it up together and divide by the number of months between progress photos.....I'm not sure how anyone else does it.

I can't tell exactly but it looks like I'm looking at 2.5 to 3 inches in some places. I'm 15 weeks post relaxer. I think I'm doing well.

I believe I gained an 1 1/2" between June-August, considering I relaxed in June and again in August.... Not really a summer growth spurt..
