(Initial) Hit: a mix of hemp seed and castor oil on damp/wet hair under diluted kccc. I don't usually smooth oil through my hair like I would do my gel for a wng, but last night I did this to 'refresh' my over-a-week-old wng and I'm liking the results so far...
 
HIT:
Dudley's DRC 28!!!. I thought Aphogee 2 step was the schinizzle, but Dudley blew it out the park. My hair felt so strong afterwards.
Morocconoil Intense Hydrating Mask softened my hair right up after that big ol' shot of protein.

The original, the Lite, and the Silk. I have the leave-ins, masks, conditioners, the shampoos, and balm/oil/serum. I’m going to get the Keratin and the Potion one next.
When I use a mask, I always use the rinse out conditioner. And that’s with any mask. Masks are meant to deep condition, but the conditioner adds the slip.

Have you tried the Curl Junkie Smoothing Lotion on dry hair (i.e. as a daily moisturizer)? Do you find it to be moisturizing?

I haven't tried it on dry hair, but I can this week! If you ask me again on Thursday, I'll let you know! The consistency of it leads me to believe it would indeed moisturize dry hair.

NOTE: When my hair gets dry this week, it will trigger in my mind your post, and I'll apply the CJSL. However, I might forget to post about it unless you tag me again, lol.

You combine the rinse out with the mask to deep condition? How long do you leave them on?

No. I use the mask after I shampoo, dc for 15 mins, rinse, then I apply the conditioner, work it in really good, let it sit for 3-5 minutes, then rinse. I don’t mix products, or add anything to products. Also, I also always use shampoo.

I am going to stop going so long in between uses. My hair loves this stuff. Breakage stopped immediately.
My hair just likes straight protein. No reconstructors or fillers lol...
 
Hit: finding my APB hair subscription box that I thought USPS had misdelivered

Hit: the contents of the hair box (all 8oz products)
-Ayurvedic hair oil in sugar cookie crunch
-Sweet pumpkin spice leave-in
-Cupuacu avocado daily moisturizer in pink sugar
-Creamy oil in lemon sugar pound cake
-Pumpkin hair and body butta in pumpkin marshmallow
-Pumpkin seed moisturizing mask
 
Hit:

Finding a new braider that makes house calls.
She installed crochet braids almost a month ago and they still look like new.
She came over this weekend and touched up the perimeter so I can go a few more weeks with this install.
