Wasn't all that to me, it gave a refreshing tingle, but it left me scalp and hair a tad bit drier than I would like....good thing it was only a sample, cause I'm leaving that stuff on the shelf...

How long did you use it for and did you experience any thickening of the hair? My hair is mid back but thin so I've been meaning to try some. My new hairdresser was pushing me to get some but she did say it could be drying. Did you do any extra moisturizing to counteract the drying effect?

My sister in laws have been using this for some time now (7 months). They say they haven't noticed any thickening ot the hair. Only that there is less shedding.
I think it is used to keep the hair you already have.
My MIL said the only thing that will grow hair is Rogaine....but be careful 'cause it affects hormones as well. She said if you don't want hair growing in other places...don't use Rogaine.

I got samples from the company, I've only tried it once, and once is all it took, I used some of Asha's leave in to counteract the drying effect

It is one of my staple products. I love it. I have thick hair and did not get a drying effect. However, the way I use it is: wash with cream of nature; then finish with Nioxin. I only use Nioxin when I want a good cleansing. That is the bad boy of shampoo and it is not be on a regular basis.
