I bought the 90 day supply....I'm starting on month 2, my hair is looking and feeling healthier I am natural so it's not really showing the length...when I conditioner wash it's starting to feel heavier :)....I cut my text. hair off in Sept 05 down to 2 inches it is now about 6 inches when stretched...my staple products are MTG, Proclaim Activator, Surge/Infusium/911 leave-in/Aussie leave-in Mixture.
BTW MY NAILS ARE GROWING LIKE CRAZY TOO, they are getting THICK!!! so the NIOXIN is a keeper for me!!!! :)

Nioxin is a keeper for me. Not only for the condition of my hair but it has been great for my skin.

I have been using the vitamins for 5 weeks and it along with my other vitamins is growing my hair fast...I am currently 2 days away from having 7 weeks of newgrowth and my newgrowth looks like I have 10 weeks of newgrowth....I never went past 9 weeks post retouch but this newgrowth is coming in fast and thick like never before....the vitamins I take with these pills are:

2 evening primrose oil 1,000 mcg...will up the dosage to 2,000 soon.
1 b50 complex
2 biotin 2,000 mcg

Are you guys still doing this challenge? I would like to join and see what I can achieve by the end of the year

I just started taking these yesterday; I hope I can be consistent for 3 months so that I can tell if they work for me or not!

I would like to join this challenge too. I have been taking Nioxin Vitamins for quite a while but not consistantly. This challenge should help me take 1 pill everyday for 3 months.

Well, I started this challenge (my first...yayyyyy) last week on the 8th. I've been taking 2 a day so, we will see what happens. I'll post at the end of 6 weeks which will be around the week ending November 18. So far, I noticed that my skin have a few breakouts, which I didn't have before at all. But, they are clearing up quick. I can handle that, though.

Hope others will respond too.

Majority of the ladies, myself included are taking 2 pills a day...some women reported that taking one pill was not really helping and when they doubled up they noticed faster growth....I have been taking these vitamins for almost 3 months along with other vitamins and my hair is softer, more manageable and most importantly it's growing faster...but taking two pills a day is helping me with the faster growth.JMHO:)

*edited* I went to look at my calendar and I have been taking nioxin for 11 weeks...it's said that after 3 months some ladies are getting 2 inches a month...well I can't wait to get past 3 months and see for myself...so far so good though.

I will be taking 2 per day, I have 2 90 day supply bottles so that should give me some type or result. I will take the Biotin I have, figure it shouldn't hurt and definately the MSM. That's a keeper just because of all the benefits associated with it. I workout a lot and my joints feel GREAT!!! I might not re-up on the biotin when I run out, we shall see. I am also thinking of doing a super green product, but that's just fo general health, I don't feel like I'm getting in enough veggies.

We shall see, I'll take a before pick tonight! I'm excited.

I'm in. I've been taking one a day for about two weeks now, but I'll try two a day. One thing I can say is I've already noticed a great change in my fingernails- stronger and so white- especially since I wash my hands so often at work.

Well I've been on this challenge and didn't even know it. I've been taking Nioxin for a few months now. BUT I am only on my second bottle (so I slacked off somewhere in there) anyways I'll start back up after seeing all of you guys getting results.

I was taking two a day for awhile, then I started getting an upset stomach so I went back to one a day. I may try two pills at different times during the day - because- yes I was taking two together at the same time. (laughs) That didn't work.

Well keep me posted. I'll check back!

Girl if you think they're great now, try using a body butter on your hands after washing. Wonderful for the winter!

Just wondering.... do any of the women that take two a day notice headaches?

No headaches...but I have noticed more breakouts...so, I came down to one a day instead of two. I've also now started taking Solaray Bamboo (Silicia) so, that should complement the Nioxin well.

Umm.. about month now ... i know my hair growing though could be the other vittimans though

Dannygirl when you say you don't notice a difference do you mean as far as hair growth or were you talking about the headaches? Because if you are talking about hair growth..it takes about 3 months to really see results for some ladies but after 3 months it's on...your hair takes off...I have been using them for 3 months and some change and my hair is definitely growing...I am 4 weeks post and have alot of newgrowth whereas before taking nioxin... I didn't start seeing ng until I was like 6 weeks post....hang in there and take them faithfully and you WILL see results.:)

I was curious about that.

Okay my stomach was hurting for a different reason. I'm back up to two a day. I separate them out instead of taking them together, drink lots of water and yes my hair is definetely growing.

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm so what does the Nioxin Product line do? has anyone tried it. i read alot about the pills but what about the hair maintance products:confused:

I just purchased a thirty day supply. It does not seem to have the hair growth vitamins included.

I didn't vote in the poll because I haven't used them consecutively, but I did from March 2006 to March 2007 and I started again consistently in Aug. 2008.

They definitely helped promote growth in my experience.

I may consider starting back up on Nioxin, but may I mention to the ladies who are new to this vitamin, that I didn't experience any growth or any change in my growth rate until after I stopped taking Nioxin. (lol) So like three months of taking the vitamin and nothing...then I stopped and got like extra growth and longer hair. I should have kept going at that point, but I'm happy with my liquid vitamins overall.

Best wishes for the challengers!

Oh and Yes, I took two pills once a day after a meal (at different times).

I noticed a difference in my fingernails within two weeks, so I assumed it was working for my skin and hair.

I agree with your point. It deffinitely took three or four months for the vitamins to kick in bring exra growth.
