Newbie with a hair obsession!

Heyyyyyyy! just suscribed but have been debating it and was just lurking for a while now. so many questions..............but starting with one.
Where do you begin on this journey (product wise)???? There are so many products out there! I have started becoming a PJ and am now ready to throw what i thought i "needed". HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
