Hey all,
ACV
It seems that ACV rinses serve multiple purposes. One could be to clarify, soften hair and/ or seal in moisture to name a few that I've heard mention on this board. My question is IF my goal is to clarify then perhaps I should to this BEFORE I begin pre-pooing, shampooing, dc-in etc. no? But then if I do it AFTER all of the above (which I've read some folks do) then all of a sudden my hair is supposed to know that I'm not trying to get rid of the goodies I just deposited (via oil rinses, dcs etc.) but now, sealing? How can we determine the effectiveness of a product if it serves multiple (possibly contradictory) purposes?
Washing
During what season is it best to increase the number of times one washes per week? I thought that during the summer months, the hair retains more moisture and so it is less dry= no need to wash as much. But if you sweat more in the summertime, your pores my get clogged with a combo of perspiration and skin cells (or whatever) and so you might need to wash more, no? And during the winter months when (at least for me) my hair and the air feels dryer, I would need to wash more often right?
If someone can clarify this for me it would be GRRREAT!
Thanks a mil.
