Rather, clarifying your hair is key..lol

I had been alternating between co washing and wearing my hair au natural with gels, curly pudding, etc, etc, and wearing my hair straightened. I attempted to wash, blow dry and flat iron my hair 3 or 4 times in the past 2 weeks. I don't need to hear anything negative about that because I already know and that's not the reason for this post. In any event, when I blowdried my hair it was horrible, dry, and everything in between. I even did the ors conditioner and left it in for a few hours then washed and blowdried and it didn't help. Tonight I remembered to clarify then do the usual, well I haven't flatironed yet but I can tell that it helped tremendously. My blow dried hair is supple and moisturized...FINALLY. I guess for me I have to remember to clarify after my week of wash and go's because if not my hair is going to be horrendous.

Thought this might help someone out there dealing with something similar.

I agree with your post.

I think the need to clarify is the root of about 60% of the problems people have here.:)

I SO agree!! Also finding the right product to meet your clarifying needs is important, too. I have tried shampoos that say clarifying and they just did not address the fact that I have hard water.

Amen...i totally slacked on clarifying and couldn't figure out what my hair problem was. a quick date with pantene purity cleared that right up
