Well, I finally purchased a decent digital camera from Walmart today. I'm really trying to put a decent album together. So any suggestions you guys have would be appreciated. Also, if anyone uses Fotki.com....how do you make folders within an album??

Thanks for sharing your pics Shelli. I really love your haircolor

. That's the color I used to try to achieve back in the days. Is that honey blonde? BTW I also like the instant weave. I've been contemplating geting one, but Im afraid I won't be able to blend my real hair with it. All the ones I've seen are so silky straight.

Hi, Ladies. Thanks for the compliments. I've been experimenting with phonytails and instaweaves. I don't feel comfortable with them on my head though. I usually opt for a bun.

Oh, and after reading Tracy's post about haircolor I've been experimenting with glazes. But I doubt I'll ever put permanent color on my hair again. I can NEVER get it right.

Thanx Allandra. I picked them up from this darn website! i was minding my own business...perfectly content with my staple products. Next thing I know I ordered UBH Creme (I don't want to name names but a certain mouse raved about it). Then I bought Kenra (once again, I won't say who the product peddler was but her initials are BrownRelaxedHair). And today, I accidentally purhased that darn Fructis Conditioner.

Ladies, we need to start some kind of support group for product junkies!

Hi Shelli, great pics and great colour too! Yes, you're right! I too need the PJ Support Group! Today after work, I'm going to buy Biotin and that's it!!! No more buying anything! Or at least this month! Maybe next month I'll order the UBH Conditioner, a couple of the Carol's Daughter products I saw, and that LUST I keep hearing so much about! You guys are going to send me to the poor house!! But at least I'll be in the poor house with some beautiful hair!!!

The Bun? I used a couple of socks. I rolled up a thick one then covered it with a silk one (be sure to cut the toes of first...it works better that way

). After my hair is gathered in a ponytail I fan my hair around the sock foundation. I then tuck my ends under and secure it with whatevers handy: scrunchy, elastic band, whatever.

I do this because those grey foam bun things are to beig for my hair length. A sistah has to improvise.

thanks 4 sharin yo pics with us shelli, they r very nice n love the twists on yo lil cousin and yo bun too, i dont think i'll be able to do one lik that any time soon!!

Thanks a bunch. I'm such a newbie with my lil' cousins hair. But the twists are working out pretty well. They last a long time too.

My regimen changes every week. But basically I rinse daily and wear my hair in a bun most days. The most useful product I have are my conditioners. I love ORS Hair Mayonnaise (I add olive oil to it). Kenra and Keracare are also fabulous. And I haven't seen any hair pomade better than Kemi Shea Butter Pomade (which I use on my edges).

I've usually stayed away from products with petrolatum and mineral oil. However, I am experimenting with the Vaseline Challenge.
