Thank you sooo much for all your comments ladies, I really appreciate each and every one...

I've been natural for a year and 4 months, approximately. April 2003 was the last time I relaxed, then I transitioned by wearing braids and trimming off the ends. My hair isn't colored, sometimes the way the light hits it it brings out different colors in it but in real life it looks ash brown.

I feel so encouraged by reading your responses. Whenever I'm feeling down about my hair I'll come back to this thread
