@naptrl-I got my last relaxer in July 1997, and transitioned for two and a half years. So, it will five years in January that I have been 100% natural.
I began to see more growth once I stopped using heat, and the last time I used heat was in June 2001.

Oh, wow! I guess I have a lot to look forward to! My goal is to have my natural hair down to my waist by the time I graduate from Medical School!! I'm sure I can do it!!
