Just updating for those who would like to know; I went though bootcamp with a sew in and no problems. I even saw a girl with individual braids, cut short but i would not recommend it. Still, it's not all safe, because I saw another RDC who was black point my hair out to my white chief and say she made her girls take their sew ins out. Then my chief came to me and asked me if it was glue and if I could wet. Once I very, very briefly said it was sewn in and would last two months, she left me alone.
I'm thinking glue in weaves were the one the other RDC was making people remove....
