Naturals, what temperature do you straighten your hair on?

Bumping this old thread because I'm curious.
My last press I did 415 2 slow passes. It's the straightest I've ever gotten my hair.
380 still gave me bushy hair. Next time I'll try 415 again with one slow pass, and one quick pass.

What temperature are you ladies using now?

I used 390 with my chi G2 (first time) and while it was straight, it wasn't silky. I'll try 400 next time....which won't be until October.

I do several passes with 400 and 410 with no ill effects. It won't do anything to your hair if you have already protected it thoroughly beforehand.

I've had my hair flat ironed at 450 degrees Fahrenheit with 100% complete reversion but seeing as the keratin that human hair is made of burns at 451 degrees Fahrenheit, I would never allow a hair stylist to use a temperature that high again or recommended that heat setting to someone else. I wouldn't go above 400 degrees unless you have extremely resistant hair.
