I humbly submit these photos your honor, for the benefit of the jury. I intend to show that I am in fact 4a (maybe 3c/4a with a denman brush). :yep:

My curls are mostly smaller than 3c curls, though I have a few of those.

I could rock a mean fro if I wanted to.

So in closing, all I'd like to say is: if it don't fit you must acquit. :look: :lachen:

ETA:
Sorry the pics are so big.

Semo, you are definately my hair twin:yep:. I voted 3c/4a.

My hair seems to be mostly 4a with some 4b and 3c parts. I need to take new pics. I feel like my hair needs to be longer for me to really get a good idea of how it will behave. It's curly but the curls are small so its most likely various sizes of 4a, since to me 3-type hair has more shine than 4-type.

Mostly 4a (back) but 3c in the front and the middle (is that the crown?) is ??????? I can't even explain it. It doesn't curl really but it holds the shape of whatever I do (like twists) for-ever! And its always been shorter and shrinkier than the rest of my hair. Sorta 4b I guess!

How does it happen that folks have so many textures on one head?

Good question. I would like to know this too:grin:

I see there are a lot of us 4a/b ladies:grin: Good to see all the beautiful heads of hair, no matter what texture!!!
