Ladies (and gentlemen) I need some advice.
I have a head full of fine hair and my shrinkage is crazy uneven. I have several textures 3c-4a/b and the shrinkage is massive and...well.... off. The perimeter of my hair is 4a, my crown is 4b, and my nape is a mix of 3c/4a. My 4a shrinkage is cool, my 4b shrinkage squats doooooooooown to the point that it looks like well.... lower than the rest of my hair.... almost like I got beaned in the back of the head with a board (just flat) and my 3c just hangs. I have to coax it up (and pin it higher for it to blend in with the rest of my fro.)
Lately I've been doing more twist outs and wigging it. I tried the kccc now that my grass is longer and I looked like I had a bad curl. *sigh* erplexed
With all of that said, I was thinking about having it shaped (what's the point of having alot of hair if you can't have fun with it?) but I'm concerned about the different textures (and scissor happy stylists).
I'm also toying around with the thought of adding color. But the horror stories of breakage and waning curl patterns as the hair gets longer freak me out. What should I do?
