Naturals...How many times do you lather when using shampoo?

Hey ladies...I have been lathering once recently...but because I use thick oils like castor...Im thinking about upping it to twice...Just curious about what everyone else does. Thanks ladies!

I usually end up doing it twice only because my water is kinda hard and it dosen't lather well the first time. It just depends on how much lather I get. Sometimes I just keep adding water and more shampoo and that will help it lather if I'm too lazy to shampoo a second time.

When I'm wearing natural styles I shampoo once a week. Anything else (roller sets, wraps, flat ironed, etc.) it's every two weeks which I prefer the most.

How many times do you lather when using shampoo? I shampoo focusing on my scalp - one time. I rinse and if my hair still has build up on the scalp I will shampoo twice. I do not use a clarifying conditioner.

What is your staple shampoo? Keracare or CON Detangling Shampoo but I just updated to Redken Smooth down Shampoo and that's my new staple.

I only lather once...I use ORS creamy aloe poo (it clarifies; I clarify at every wash since my water is sooo hard)...

I wash 2x a week when I wear my own hair, but I have sew in now so I try to wash it once a week...

I cowash once or twice a week if I wear my own hair, but I haven't cowashed with my sew in yet...

I have two. Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo and Isoplus Conditioning Shampoo.

I normally co-wash daily, usually at night so my hair has the opportunity to dry overnight.

Okay to kind of sum the responses....It seems to me that people who use:

ONE LATHER: Wash Once a Week or More Frequently
Majority Also Co-Wash

TWO LATHER: Washes Once a Week or Every Two Weeks
May or may not co-wash

Okay...so because I work full-time and go to school full-time...I only wash my hair every two weeks and never co-wash...I just dont have time to deal with my hair...plus I use a lot of oils so I guess I definitely need TWO lathers....Thanks Ladies!!
