Twists almost 100% of the time. If I'm not feeling up to it, I french braid my hair here and there or wear a puff.

NuMe you have some purrty hair, lady

I wear mine's mostly in wash n gos

I second that. I wear my hair curly 85% of the time and flat iron it for special occasions and or trims. I use water and moisturizer to prep my curls, and either wear it in a ponytail, or all out.

I just looked at your fotki and am just amazed at how pretty your hair is. My hair is natural and I cannot get it that straight with a flat iron, I have to get it pressed. Please tell us what flat iron you use.

when i was transitioning i wore two strand twists w/ extensions. it kept me from having to manage the two different textures of hair. when i wore loose napps i conditioned each morning in the shower and sported a wash n' go. i fingercombed and only truly detangled on shampoo wash days and only w/ tons of conditioner!

I'm a fan of the twistouts right now..I do really fat twists to get a bigger curl.

twists. twistouts... braids. braidouts and puffs using the twistsouts or braidout:yep:

I've had to revise my styling (as per my siggie message) so now I'm wearing it wng....looks pretty cute too. Will take pics soon...

I wear mostly braids, two strand twists, and kinky twists. I wore sew in weaves a lot last winter and in the summer I like to wear puffs and fros since I can just wet my hair and go.

Hi ladies I am wearing mine in cornrows under a wig. I co wash 4x a week and baggy with warmed BT every night. I am trying to get some length before I display my hair to world because I have so much shrinkage.

But you ladies need to sign up for this challenge started by sugarose

Hi turnergirl , just had to tell you I love your album, your hair and your a beautiful woman ...ok back to the list.

Twits, puffs, wash and go's , fro's , twist outs , flat iron every 2-3 months

Twists or cornrows most of the time. I'm considering box braids for a switch up.

I wear a low pony puff and wash and go's year round. I just squeeze the water out of my hair with a t-shirt so that my clothes do not get wet and so my head is not cold in the winter.

16 large box braids that I pull into one single braid and tuck under for a bun made of braids. Sometimes I wear a tam or a headwrap over the braid-bun.

I swear this is not a flippant answer but it depends on my mood, the day of the week and the time of the year.

During the months from Oct-March I am usually in protective style because it is the winter months. Right now I am so glad I am in protective style because I have been dealing with the fires here in my neighborhood.

But there are times in the summer I will do different types of styles. From March to June I will do a quasi protective style like braid up the back in big braids and cornrow the front and slap a 3/4 wig on or a whole one if I just don't want to think about hair.

Hi MsCocoface! Thanks for being one of my album's biggest supporters. :hiya:

OMGoodness. Your hair is absolutely gorgeous. Love your fotki. You are such an inspiration.

I voted in this poll a while back, I think....but anyways, I wear my hair in a bun basically every single day *yawns*

I know....boring :ohwell: LOL

I'm easy--wash and go with some styling product maybe.

Sometimes an updo like a big old pony puff.

Thinking of braids for the winter, but I will have to see.

For me, I am natural, and I don't wear my hair out too often b/c the tangling, people touching it and it just takes too long to play with it on a daily basis. I just stay twisted up. I will curl it,wash it, wear it crimpy, updo's, buns, you name it. Plus it helps me with the "low manipulation" since I'm not constantly messing with my hair.

I am doing the wash and go but need to figure something out for the winter. I might do press-n-curls so I won't have to wet it daily.

Still rocking buns at least 5 days per wk.
Slight variations with twist/braid bun, but still a bun.

Loving this thread and all the new fotkis I can stalk. :yep: I'm newly natural. During my transition I rocked phony ponies and full wigs. Now, I'm doing a press and curl with a WARM comb and my flat iron.

Saturday night I had an unplanned afro . DH claims he didn't realize I was washing my hair when he accepted a dinner invitation. I rinsed my shikakai and amla out and saturated it with conditioner. Then I combed it out with my shampoo comb and shaped it. I have a headband that is a braid made of synthetic hair. I put the headband on and put on some fierce makeup.

Voila! Natural Diva!
