nice, why do you say you guess you're not there yet as far as not wearing wash n gos? i'm curious to hear because i cant either and we have similar hair:yep:
you dont baggy either, right??

I protect my ends as much as possible, so I do mostly buns. However, I do wear a pony puff sometimes. I never wear wash & go's....guess I'm not there yet.

I haven't flatironed my hair since the spring, so I look forward to seeing how much growth I have achieved over the summer.

1 wrap my head mostly
every now and then ill rock a puff

I truly switch my hairstyles very often but if there were one style I wore the most over the last 4 years of being natural, it would be a wash n go. I fresh wash has always been the base of any style I do with my hair. Unfortunately, most days it never went beyond the wash hence the wash and go.

when i wear it out,
i mainly do wash/shake and go's
because it's simple for me

i mainly keep my head scarved
(and twisted underneath to prevent tangling)
i need some new scarves, though.
i'm getting bored with the ones i have.

I wear it mostly in a puff or a bun.

I do all that other stuff when I have time. I don't wear it out as much anymore because I am never sure how it's going to dry. (I don't blowdry it) I can't stand lopsided hair that's flat in the back which is what happens most of the time. :lachen:

I wear all of them on the list except for braidouts. I also wear wigs, weaves, and braids. Lately I've either been wearing wash and gos or a phony pony.

I started out doing wash n go's all the time, but as it got longer I changed to a pony puff. I normally didnt have time to dry my hair in the morning and as my hair got longer, my clothes got wet. Its just reaching shoulder, but it's still a problem. I just decided last night that I was going to do a bun/twist with a clip from now on because I'm getting breakage with pony puffs from not being careful with elastics and not taking it down before going to bed. I have breakage around the edges from rubbing around tossing and turning with my hair pulled taut and also in the area around where the elastic rests. I have satin covered ponytail holders, but I hadnt been using them. I know: :badgirl:

I wear half wigs. I keep my hair in 4 to 6 braids underneath. This is my staple through the end of the year.

I have been wearing twists, flat twists, and since the late spring, buns. I can't wait until the day when I can sport a monster puff without a blowout. :drunk:

I usuallly wear full wigs w/braids underneath, wash 'n gos, ponytail, bantu sets, or flat-ironed. :)

I've been in wigs for the past month or so. It's getting kinda knotty, so I will buy 1 more, then it's back to braids!

Since it's warm I wear wash in Go's every day. When it turns cold I will give my diffuser a try or wear the fake ponytails.

I love wearing my hair in cornrows, its easy and simple to deal with. It helped while i was transitioning - then i didnt have my fingers in my hair all the time and i was less tempted to chop and the style hid the difference in textures.

Now that im fully natural, i love to wear braid extentions or cornrows, to help protect my hair to reach the length i want and its easy for me to keep moisterised.

Once in a while i love to wear it out in a fro.

in a bun or ponytail coated with elucence mbc or some other conditioner...usually damp/wet because i've rinsed it that day.

and i'm so SICK & TIRED OF WEARING MY HAIR LIKE THIS every day!!
because its NOT my best look.

Wash and go's.

I second that. I wear my hair curly 85% of the time and flat iron it for special occasions and or trims. I use water and moisturizer to prep my curls, and either wear it in a ponytail, or all out.

I don’t stick to one style too often, I like to mix it up. Lately I’ve been wearing twists and wash 'n go’s, other than that it’s the usual bun, french roll, twistout, braidout etc...:)

I just got my hair pressed & flatironed today so it's straight with mucho body. Otherwise, for the summer, I am wearing it natural. Usually pulled back in a clip or a ponytail. I am going to try and keep it up after summer. Except for my once a month hair appointment and the special occasions when I will wear it straightened.

I don't know what I'm going to do with my hair after I take these braids out in a couple weeks. My hair does best when it's left alone, but I can't walk around like that. I'm so tempted to chop it down to a twa. . .:perplexed

I am the queen of wash-n-go. It is just so easy, even a caveman can do it:grin: It just a time saver for me and most days it looks pretty good. I have to detangle by the end of the week.

All I can do is wash n go for now, but I'm practicing other styles too.

Hi...being that I new to being natural, I have been wearing san afro. I have found many tips on the boards for keeping my hair soft and moisturized. I am on a quest to get my hair to APL. My hair was in critial shape, but I kept the faith. :yep:
