Naturals... anyone using Sta Soft fro Hair Spray?

My little sister just came over and had her hair in a afro puff.

I touched her hair and Wow!! It was feeling soooo soft and moisturised too.:lick:

She told me she took it from my brother(who has btw been looking for it all this week and has accused me several times of havin it:rolleyes:)

I really need to get me a bottle of that stuff.

Any naturals using this or have done?

Any reviews on it ladies?

I used to, but they don't seem to sell the regular anymore (I think because they don't make it anymore), and I found the 'extra dry' formula to be too greasy (and I also didn't like the smell :ohwell:).

The regular stuff was da bomb.

i've thought about trying this sta sof fro stuff
whenever i see it in the store, i pick it up

but i'm always afraid to try it

maybe i should give it a whirl sometime?

i find it hard to find things that truly moisturize my hair.

This is the one that I tried, in rub on form instead of spray form. The smell was like harsh chemicals and made me gag and it didn't penetrate at all. I gave it away. But I know lots of naturals rave over sta-sof-fro spray.

I didn't like the smell either. it was sickly sweet and nauseating. It worked okay on my hair, nothing to write home about.

oh really?

the last time i was in the store this was the version i saw...

i picked it up and looked at it, read the ingredients and was like "nah"
and put it down

maybe i was right about that

i always hear a lot of people saying they really like(d) the spray version, though.

i like the spray version. whenever i want to pick my fro out but my hair is dry. i spray some on and get to pickin'. i didnt like the smell either at first, but i just got over it after awhile. alot of natural like the s-curl no drip. so maybe you could try that

I didn't know they had it in a tub too.

The one my sis got is in a wierd looking brown spray bottle.

I also wanna try S curl non drip.

I'm just thinking lighter products are better for natural hair? Not heavy oils and creams. I'm just trying stuff to see what works best.

Also does anyone know the ingredients?

I couldn't put my finger on it but her hair was feeling kinda sticky not a lot though but it still felt amzingly soft. I'm so proud of her finally looking after her natural hair.:yep:

A lot of people...including me when I'm lazy...use S Curl no Drip. I like it but it has PG in it. I make a spray with rose water, gylcerine, and aloe juice...that stuff is money!! I spray my hair with straight aloe juice on my scalp after my final rinse and before I add my creamy leave-in....my hair is soft and moist and I don't get any tangles or knots! EVER!! I don't measure out my mix, its like 4 oz rose water, a splash of glycerine..not to much it will get your hair sticky, and the the rest food grade aloe juice to make about 7 oz total (appx)...Its $$$$

I only can use S-curl spray, I love it and I mix a tad bit of Infusium in it!! But SSF the smell gives me a terrible headache and it doesn't work for my hair at all, I used all versions. But I have to have S-curl, S-curl Texturizing Spray(which is hard to find). But it depends on your hair!!
