It's amazing how many hairstyles you were able to do in such a short amount of time! Natural hair is so versatile. Wish it was me in Cancun! LOL

Your hair is beautiful and so are you.

You look like a grown up version of my niece. Here she is.

She is absolutely ADORABLE!!!! Makes me want to have kids, STAT! But I have about a decade more before that is practical for me. Have to wait until my mid 30s :(

I love all of them! Great versatility! Oh yea, I'm sure I've said this before, but oh well..you're so pretty..gorg smile!! Are you still bkting?
Thanks! No I'm not BKTing. Haven't done that since early spring 2009 I think.

Way to rock that hair - beautiful styles on a beautiful lady! BTW, what resort did you stay at? I noticed Riu Palace Las Americas off in the distance - I stayed there this past Thanksgiving and want to stay in that area for spring break but try a different hotel.

that bantu knot-out near 'bout knocked me out of my seat! GORGEOUS...you and your hair...and you have a great SO to be so thoughtful!

Wow, you had a different head of hair everyday. Excellent post on the versatility of natural hair! You and your hair are simply beautiful. I'm sending a link to this post to my cousin that's about to transition but doesn't want to do the 'fro's.

You worked your hair!! And from all the smiles, look as if you had a GREAT vacation to go along with your FAB hair. Great job!

I stayed at Fiesta American Grand Coral Beach. I would HIGHLY recommend it. It is close to downtown so you can experience the nightlife without having to deal with taxis or buses, yet it is situated on one of the best parts of the shoreline so the beach is excellent! The service is fabulous and the on-site restaurants are great. It is a 5 star resort and the facilities reflect this, yet you can get great deals if you look for it.

For example, I stayed in one of their lower level suits (Junior suit partial ocean view), but THIS was my view from my room. They thought I would want to upgrade because this was "subpar" according to them:

LOVELY!!!

You are so cute! You were styling your hair in all sorts of styles on your trip . You took lots of pics that's for sure.

You managed to do all of that while on vacation? I am amazed and highly impressed. I always think hair is a hassle while vacationinig

I loved every single hair style you posted in the thread. I'm not sure what styles you were rockin before you transitioned or how they suited you, but you look great with that full head of natural hair. It really suits you. I can't wait to be completely natural so I don't have to worry about the state of my relaxed parts of my hair when I want to do fun and spontaneous things like go on a trip to a tropical place. Thanks so much for posting!
