Natural Ladies, how do you get these looks?

I am thinking about going natural but IDK how I would style my hair
Do you have to have type 3 hair for this? I have 4b hair and I ADORE these hairstyles but IDK how to achieve them

This is a blow out. Twistout on a blow out to me. Could be a braidout.

This is one of our members or WAS one of our members. Looks lie a twistout to me.

This looks like a twistout too.

Its possible to get something similar but it really depends on how your shrinkage. You would have to have some good length for those.

But the first 3 could be achieved by blowing it out or stretching it really well and doing some type of bantu knot out or twist out.

The 4th could be just a twist out.

But there are so many different types of 4b hair that you won't know until you get there. You can always try to transition for a while and see how your hair does. And if you don't like it just relax.

My hair is not as thick or dense as the 4th picture but I can achieve that with just a regular twist out. I've never stretched my hair with heat to try the others.

Others will be in with some better answers.

A few of ladies may even be in the "4" family. IA w/Pookaloo, twistouts and braidouts can help you achieve those styles. Blowouts will result in fluffier hair.

I think EllePixie's hair is the texture, though you could mimic it with a twistout on small twists.

Pics 2 and 4 look like tightly coiled hair. Pics 1 and 3 are looser curls. You can always improvise to get similar looks.

They look like old twistouts or braidouts. Or maybe even a blow-out. So basically stretched out hair that's been picked/combed out a little. Possibly moisture added before picking out.

I think the third one is a wash and go.

ETA: You can achieve it with 3 or 4 hair types.

Some of the styles looks like the Curly Girl Method. Check out You Tube, MahoganyCurls. I just BC last week and I've noticed 3c curls except for my temples are 4z. What really helped me with the Curly Girl Method is to first apply Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse, after CO Wash. My leave in conditioner, Paul Mitchell mixed with Castor & Sweet Almond Oil. My hair looks pretty wavy (Like a brother with a fresh fade)

:-)

Ya'll always come through. I'm relaxed ATM but I remember my natural texture not having as many ringlets and stuff. Hopefully, I will still be able to achieve a curly-ish looks.

TY guys

This is an old photos of mine. I twisted my hair while dry (2nd day hair) using a leave-in/pudding. When I twist my hair dry, it really stretches out the curl pattern giving it a blown out look. By day 4 it was completely stretched.
