Natural Ladies -- Do you use shea butter?

i don't think my hair likes this stuff.

it goes on so lovely but dries hard and with little bits.

i'm going to whip my batch because i have a lot left and add in some essential oils to see if that helps.

i can use shea moisture so i know i can use sb, it's just that i may have to always ADD something to it for the best results.
 
I can only use it if it's mix with another oil or butter (aloe, castor, coconut). Raw shea butter just sits on my hair if it's not.
 
I use shea butter on my twist on when I need it to be weighed down (buns etc.) My friend brings some from Ghana for me. But I've bought some at West Indian festivals or a shop that has natural soaps, incense etc....
 
I love sheabutter, wish I had used it years ago!
Right now I only use the shescenit.com Seyani Hair Butter

I apply it to my hair when its straight. I only apply it to the roots when its curly.
