I have been natural for 5 years but it has been 3 years since I have started taking care of my hair via LHCF. Prior to those 3 years my natural hair was dry and constantly breaking off because I was more of a "straight natural".

I cant remember how long I transitioned because at the time there wasnt that many resources for transitioning like there are today. All I know was that I did not want any more relaxers put into my hair. I do remember chopping my then Aplish hair to chin length (bob) and then once that grew to SL I chopped it again to another bob who my stylist then told me I had finally chopped all my relaxed hair off.
