oh my gosh! I finally got around to trying care free curl activator the other day. I applied it to damp hair then did 5 flat twists. My hair was HAPPY! I was thrilled that my hair didn't look and feel dry at all.
I can't believe I slept so long on care free curl. Guess I had images of the 70's drippy mess that left stains every where. I did check my pillow case when I woke up but it was all clear.
I did seal the ends with a bit of whipped shea butter but i'm most impressed with my roots. I feel some soft curls popping down there now.
I think I might break out my megatek now. When I first tried megatek it left my hair feeling a bit drier than normal but I think the carefree will help keep my hair moist while the MT is on the scalp.
