Some people complain about the kitchen but my widows peak and front hair line is shorter harder denser and o much different texture than the rest of my head. I have never been able to achieve smooth edges except for perhaps the first week after a relaxer and even then the relaxer often doesn't take in that area. I have tried the usual tricks such as oil water conditioner Shea butter and then tying down until dry but it doesn't work. Does anyone have the same type of hair line? What do you do when you want smooth edges?
Also that area is very dry and prone to breaking off or just being shorter than the rest of my hair. I managed to get some length by not combing or brushing that area and saturating it with cantu leave in but it is hard for me to get this area to take and retain moisture.
On the upside I have a thick low front hairline so I am happy for that.
