On the Grow and Keeping it Simple
I was experimenting in my hair Christmas morning and realized that the hair at the very front of my head, the widows peak area, is straight. Its only this section. The hair isn't frizzy or coarse. Its smooth and shiny. This can't be heat damage, but how do you explain straight hair in a 3c/4a head?

You can't explain it, my son's hair is mostly straight but has some small spots on his head that are 4b. :p My other son is 3c. I guess it was a battle on my older son's head for who's hair texture he would get, my husband won the majority.

Yep, can't explain it! I'm a 4a but most definately have multiple textures on my head..straight to kinky.

I'm also 4a/3c and I have loads of type 1 hair that grows around my hairline all around, especially in the back where the 3c really like to hang out. It's "baby" hair that doesn't grow very long, so I'm not saying that I have type 1 in my head. :)

So imo, It's nothing to be alarmed about, it happens.

Thanks ladies! Any other experiences/opinions?
