My Joico Review: This stuff is pure gold!!!

I'm an official Joico addict!!!

At first it was just the K-Pak line. Then Silk Result. And now I stumbled across their deep conditioner over the holiday. All I can say is :wow:

My hair has never, never, ever felt this good! The silkiness is unbelievable. The shine is unprecedented! My hair moves and blows in the wind and LOOKS soooooo healthy!!!

At first I wasn't sure if the improvement was totally because of Joico. I was also using Paul Mitchell and HE products.

But this holiday, all I had were the Joico products so now I know for sure!!!

Here's what I used:

Joico

Reconstruct shampoo
Deep Conditioner
Silk Result shampoo and conditioner

The deep conditioner sat in my hair for an hour and has a pH of 3.3
I didn't even use a leave in conditioner!!! Just a drop ( and I do mean a drop) of HE Hello Hydration conditioner after I parted my hair. I added a small amount of sweet almond oil and that's it!!!!

The results are astounding!!!

And I just purchased a Samsung Sync camera phone so as soon as I figure out how, I will post pics. Unless someone can tell me how:)


Any way I'm so happy with my hair right now the only thing that would make me happier is length and I'm not even thinkging about that for a whole year.

(Although, I must say, PM Super-charged and The Conditioner will always be staples, but everything else is Joico all the way :D)

Girl, my hair is the same way, especially since getting a taste of the deep conditioner. The name escapes me at the moment. Would you believe it? I left all my new Joico products at home!!!:wallbash:

But its OK. I've become a pusher anyway. I did my moms hair and my two sister's hair with Joico and they were very impressed. I don't care if they have it, cause I'm on my way to the Candy Shop (my local BSS) to buy more!!

As for PM, i don't know. I may always use The Conditioner but I was never that impressed with Super Charged.

I cannot believe I'm no longer a PM girl. I thought we would be together forever!:grin:

i'm scared to, though, because i think some of their products are stinky :barf:, and i only put stuff on my hair that smells delicious.

surriously though!!! I actually got lucky with my latest Joico purchase. I had just purchased my lovely new Samsung Sync phone in the local mall. My sisters and I were walking around window shopping when we passed a salon. I'm surprised I don't have whip lash because I turned around so fast my eyes were rolling.

There, on the sale rack, was a gift pack of Joico. The only one. It had the K-pak reconstructor, the deep condtioner and reconstruct shampoo. I bought the entire set for only $15.00. Can you believe that? The reconstructor alone cost $15.00. Its like I got the shampoo and conditioner for free.
 
I'm really thinking about getting this stuff but the moisture line.

Anyone know what the full name of the deep conditioner is? Which line on joico?

I was the same way w/PM a while back, but had an allergic reaction to ALL of the shampoos, so I knew we wouldn't be together forever :nono: But PMSC has saved me many at times. Too bad it didn't sit well with ya :ohwell:

BTW, are you talking a/b the K-pak Intense Hydrator? That (plus the hairspray and clarifying 'poo) is what I have yet to try. I own everything K-pak but those 3.

That's the one:yep: Its the one I left back home so I couldn't run and go look at the bottle:) Wow that's crazy about PM shampoos. I know the strength treatment was harsh for me.

I'm just glad I quit the PJ game after I bought out the Joico section of Trade Secret :sekret:

Ok, guys I have a question: Are you still PJ-ing out if you own every collection of one product line? I mean that's not WRONG, is it?? :look: I'm still "retired", right?? :drunk:

I have the joico kpak line thats the 4 step reconstructor system and I like it pretty well..I want to try the silk result. I dont use the 4 step system too much since its protein. But I like to use it every month or two as a protein treatment.

What is the deep conditioner u r talking about called? Is it moisturizing?
 
I say at least you keep it to one line and a few other staples.

I'm in here because I wanted that intense hydrator and the moisture line.
Since I use lye I basically need the keratin.
 
I saw Joico when I was at Ulta the other day... had I known.......

Oh well, I need to run out of stuff before I try anything new.

I sure did. It wasn't supposed to happen like that. I was going into the wash wet/wavy phase of my regimen. I was away from home so things were a tad different. I washed with the reconstruct shampoo. Then I let the Intense Hydrator sit in my hair (under plastic cap) for an hour. I rinsed that out and put a little almond oil in my hair and la bella gel on my edges.

Then a change of plans occured that called for me to straighten my hair so I washed again with silk result shampoo and conditioner. After rinsing the conditioner out I parted my hair and added a little almond oil to each section. I then added a drop of HEHH the size of a dime to my entire head. I blow dried, flat ironed and wrapped it in a satin scarf. That's it. And my hair has n e v e r looked or felt this good. really. I mean the last time I can remember it being like this was back in 1999 when I was natural. I used Nexxus product line when I did my press n curl. Fabuloso but not even close to this.


BTW any pointers on pics? I really want you guys to see. I know this high tech phone can do it.
 
I like Joice products as well. I may go pick some up from the BSS. I remember how good the products smelled and how that the K-Pack worked wonders for me. :)

:lachen: Okay, I am going to streamline my christmas shopping list because I HAVE to buy something. I will drop just about everything else and roll with Joico.
 
i know this thread is old but I just thought I'd add my piece for those who are looking for reviews on the product. I tried the shampoo (not the chelating although I will when the funds come in) and the intense hydrator (30 mins without heat), rinsed and sealed with the serum. my hair air dried soft and light but relatively straight. i went to sleep with my hair out and the next day it was even straighter and more silky :spinning:.
2 days later i co-washed with the conditioner and sealed again with the serum, airdried and flat ironed- result- chinese hair, very very very very silky hair that i could run my hands and so shiny but not greasy.
this is my line now.

I have been wanting to try this stuff soooo bad. I must go out and look for some now!!! I want to try the k-pak and the silk result. Me loves :love: chinese-looking hair.
