My Braids Made It To Week 5 (Go Me!)

I'm just soo happieee . For the the first time, my braids, which I did myself using the hair lady's video, has made it to week 5 without looking like at an absolute mess; and I wash my hair at least twice each week! This is the third time I've braided my hair using the video, but the first two times the braids only lasted 3 weeks.

I'm going to take them down and redo them concurrently at the end of week 6 and keep the second set in for another 6 weeks. It's been 85 days (12 weeks) since my last touch up and I'm stretching to 21 weeks.

Cool! I know exactly how you feel. I was so psyched to make my last set of braids last 8 weeks. It was a real accomplishment for me.
