Most Expensive Hair Product You Spent Money On...

To date I would say Alter Ego Garlic Treatment(about $33.00- $36.00).It has done wonders for my hair shedding so I will re-purchase when I run out :D

Ovation Cell Therapy - I bought 2 12oz bottles for $56.00 each (+ import duites about 45%) and honestly, I can safely say I will never repurchase it:nono:. It worked pretty well, but that price will break my bank account if I continue with it.

Now I will be honest, if it grew my hair like an inch to inch and a half each month without fail, sans the shedding, then this conditioner would stay in my rotation for as long as I could afford it. That didn't happen for me - I only got a little over half an inch a month but I want more for that price:yep:.

ETA: I didn't add my Sedu flat iron, hair steamer or stand-up hair dryer but I did spend a substantial amount for all of them including import duties into the Bahamas.

Product if you look at cost per the amount received it would be Ms Jessies. Haven't purchased that since, but did manage to use it all up. The other product would be grow afro hair long, but I used that one all year long almost daily so I got my money's worth when I did buy it. I haven't purchased it in a while because I am using Hairveda hair lotion now.

Most espensive hair tool. My Pibbs hair dyer! Yes, still love it use it for my deep condish and am still happy to have made the purchase. Even DSD would agree with this one.

Aveda Damage Remedy Restructuring Conditioner - the liter size about 2 years ago. Bought it from Ebay from about $50 which was good considering its $84 in the store. I still that same container have it after all this time with about 30% of it left.

I am not sure i would buy it again. It's good. But I don't think it's THAT good.

Qhemets Amla and Olive Heavy Cream. It was about $35 with shipping. I was sooooo disappointed. It did nothing for my hair.

$8 on some Aphogee Pro Vitamin Leave In.

yea I know...I'm cheap...:yep:

ETA: I just remembered. I bought some Hydrathermals products but I can't remember how much I spent. Knowing me it wasn't much. Maybe $20-$25.

Moroccan oil 4.1 fl oz $35, Aveda Dry Remedy gift set $65 (3 items shampoo, conditioner, elements - cheaper than buying individual). Crazy hey but love them.

$28 back in 04 Aveda Cherry Almond conditoner. They no longer make that stuff, I loved it. After my ex-husband flipped out about the price. He loved the way it made my hair look and he just started purchasing it for me. I am a no-poor, so $$$$$$$$$.

The products I buy for my hair are rarely over ten to twelve dollars. But I spent 170.00 on a Sedu Flat Iron. It was okay, but honestly I am not great at straightening so it could be just me.

ETA: I did buy some Aveda as an impulse purchase. I think it cost $26.00 for a smaller sized tube. I like it, don't love it. It is the Dry Remedy. But I heard the Damage Remedy is awesome. I would love to try the Kerastase.

KCCC big jar $29.99 It was pretty good, but there are cheaper alternatives. Won't repurchase.
Solia flat iron, $88. It broke about a year later. I'm natural now and I never straighten, so I def. won't repurchase.

karens body beautiful luscious locks hair mask. I just spent $40.00 on 16 oz but this stuff works miracles on my hair. I will be repurchasing...

I was just going to post about this product. I bought it early in my HHJ, but it is too moisturizing for my hair. I didn't & won't repurchase it, but it is a great moisturizing DC.

Syntonics Relaxer (regular) - So pleased with the results and will not need to repurchase for a while - its a big ole tub. --most expensive I've paid for relaxer

Kerastase Olio-Fusion - Will definitely repurchase the whole set of vials and conditioner

Kerastase Ciment-Pro - Will definitely repurchase.

Rolland Una - Protein Restructuring Mask

I've used Ojon - shampoo, conditioner and mask are worth the money

moroccanoil styling creme-32$: love and will buy again most likely
alter ego herb ego drops-32$: love and will absolutely buy again!

ALL of the products that I have used are inexpensive. The most I've spent is $8 for a bottle of Victoia's Secret So Sexy Conditioner. Actually it was 3 items for $24, so I got 2 conditioners and 1 serum. I love this stuff and will buy again

Ojon Restorative Oil, about $55; it's a-ight, but I prob'ly won't buy again. Actually, haven't used it in a while; may revisit.
Joico K-Pak Line (shampoo, chelating shampoo, conditioner, reconstructor, intense hydrator, split end mender); pieced together over time, I'm sure I've spent well over $100, esp since a couple of items are liter-sized. WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!! I'm happy with everything, and these are definite staples, maybe with the exception of the split end mender, and only because I haven't used it much.

This thread is kinda worthless without prices :look:

Redken Heat Glide was about $25. Great product and a little goes a long way, will repurchase. Another expensive product was Cathy Howse UBH deep conditioner; $20 for a small-ish bottle. Never again, made my hair a hard tangled mess.

ETA - JBCO was kinda expensive too. $20 for a small 8 oz bottle. Well worth it though :love5:
Yeah, thank you! I thought it was just me about the Cathy Howse conditioner.

Phytokarite £15 - was just ok, never re-purchased
Kerastase Masquintense £15 - as above
GHD straightening iron £95 - love it, I've had for 7 years and its still going strong

Ojon Restorative Treatment-$55-$60-Won't Repurchase
Sedu Flat Iron-$130-Great Purchase!
Phytospecific II-$60-Will. Never. Buy. Again.
Affirm Fiberguard-Tub $60.00 Will repurchase

Future expensive hair purchase: Alter Ego Garlic Conditioner (this purchase is long over due).
