MoroccanOil Treatment......

It actually does and it doesn't linger too long. My only problem with it is once you sweat, your hair will smell a little like Care- Free Curl because of the glycerine.

Were you referring to the MoroccanOil smelling like Care Free Curl? If so, I haven't had that problem.

I found this on the internet. Thanks! I'm going to check into this ONCE I GET OFF OF MY BUY NOTHING CHALLENGE...dayum!

Argan oil

Argan oil comes from the nuts of the Argan tree (Argania spinosa).
This tree is unknown for many people since it grows only in the South Western part of Morocco in an area covering 700,000-800,000 hectares.
The argan tree produces nuts from which is extracted a very nutritious oil.
The remaining is used to feed the cattle and nuts shells for heating. Nothing is lost.
For centuries, Berber women of this region have produced argan oil which was used for their consumption and traditional Moroccan medicine.
People abroad are more and more interested in this oil either for its cosmetic and nutritional properties.

I tried the oil this weekend because the stylist at the dominican salon suggested it. I didnt see a big difference. I dont think it did anything for my hair. I didnt notice anything difference than when I dont use it.

I love this product. It truly is an investment, but it works for me. You don't really need much. I think if should have come with a pump for accuracy. My hair loves this stuff. My roller set came out shiny, bouncy and very soft.:drunk:

Why did I come in this thread..:spinning:. I might have to buy some of this. I'm so weak when it comes to hair products, I'm such a PJ :look:

Argan oil has been on my list of things to try for ages. I saw the ingredients listed for the moroccanoil on another site and as I only use natural products it would be out of bounds for me.

Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Butylphenyl, MethylPropional, Argania Spinoza Kernal Oil (Aragan Oil), Linseed (Linum Usitatissimum) Extract, Fragrance Supplement, D&C Yellow-11, D&C Red-17, Coumarin, Benzyl Benzoate, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone

I wil definitely try the pure argan oil sometime in the future

Gatta subscribe to this thread as my curiosity is peaked also. I have seen this at www.sleekhair.com and will be adding that to my products wish list for next year's purchases.

Where did you get the argan oil? thanks!

I got 3 bottles of pure argan oil when I was in Morocco this summer. It's light and virtually odorless. But not a magic oil.

I'm a pj as much as the next person, but olive oil can do everything argan oil does, ladies. Promise.

In my humble opinion you should save your ducketts.

I just came from the salon and my stylist used this on my hair and it has a nice shine and is extremely soft. You can't even tell that I am 7 weeks post relaxer.

im thinking of trying this.
so do you put it on wet hair for rollersets or is it after the style is done?

My stylist used this oil on hair yesterday! I love the smell and my hair is super soft! I bought a bottle and will be using it on a regular basis to see the benefits. I believe you can use it on both wet and dry hair. and yes it does have cones
