Stats: I am 4a with 3c in the nape. I am 7 mths since my last texlaxer so I am working with a good amount of new growth. I set with BBD Stretch. I air dried for about an hour & half (was probably dry sooner but I wanted to be sure)

This is what my curlformers looked like

Much easier than rollers for everyone else but me. I'm sitting here RIGHT NOW trying to get these things in my head. Been trying off and on since last night :wallbash:

Great results though!! your hair looks great! Did you pick the curls apart for that second pic??

Pretty curls . Now is one of the few times that I hate being a broke college student! I want some :wallbash:

Yea I picked them apart a bit so you couldnt see parts, I have thin hair:ohwell:

So what is the problem, why can you get them in? Are they just getting stuck when you try to pull your hair through? That happend to me a few times:yep:

My thin hair self will be picking them apart 2! I do that for flexirod sets and all.

I don't know why the hell I can't get them in. The getting stuck when i try to pull the hair through. I'm using a small section, point the rod downwards, not twisting the rod. I don't know WHAT could be the problem. :nono:

Gorgeous!!
Those results are fantastic. It seems that the curls gotten from Curlformers aren't quite as Shirley Templish as those from straw sets, and rubber twisty rollers.

I'm so tempted to order some Curlformers. Dang :wallbash:

Very pretty I Just got mine this afternoon and i cant wait to try them i just hope i have results as good as everyone else:look:

Nice! What size and how many did you use? I'm trying to figure out exactly what I should get. TIA!

make sure you're holding the top of the roller open when you start pulling the hair through. I was getting stuck until I started pinching it at the top to hold it open before I started pulling the hair through.

WOW!! I'm loving these threads! Teenie, what size did you end up getting? Did you have any hair hanging out the ends?

Your hair looks amazing! I want some now...:look:

Gorgeous!

Hmph..I hate all of yall curlformers...I refuse to fork over the money..but everyone is making it so hard to resist!:wallbash:

Okay, yall are getting on my nerves now! Showing off those pretty curls! I want some but they are SOOOOOOOOO not in the budget right now! As soon as I hit APL I will reward myself with some! I love those curls! Work it ladies!

Thank you! I got the kit which contains 40 long&wide and 6 short&wide plus I purchased 2 packs of the extra long&wide I used 51 of them. I found out that you can double stack them if hair is sticking out after I purchased the additionals:wallbash: so i probably didnt need them. I want to try the long&narrow next when I get some more money:yep:

Is your hair wet enough? I noticed that when mine got stuck some of the hair I sectioned off in the hook had come out the hook:ohwell: Are you twisting your roots? Also try bringing the hook down further like to the middle of the hair, you may be to close to the roots.

lil ole me was tryna learn on dry hair.. I got it now though, probably will wash my hair and really try them soon

Wow. This is the 3rd head of hair to share their beutiful curls. Compared to flexirods, are these easier to set? All of your roots turn out so straight.

I want to find styles to help me stretch. This may be a prime suspect. :yep:
